Hajime no Ippo – Ch. 874

Gene: I just don’t know anymore, Ippo. I just don’t know anymore. Last chapter Woli was defying the laws of physics, now he’s throwing shoryukens like they were nothing. Right now I’m worried about the direction this manga is heading. I can’t even remember the last good fight we had. Is Morikawa finally running out of steam after 800 chapters? I hope things turn around soon for Ippo in this match because this is just embarrassing to watch.

Leon: Yeah. We’re pretty much being trolled now. Mid-air shoryukens? Sliding punches? Seriously, Morikawa? At this point the Gedo match is far better than this one. I can only hope it doesn’t go on as long. Hell, I’ve forgotten what round they’re even on right now.

Mahou Sensei Negima! – Ch. 270-271

Gene: lol Godel having a thing for Arika. Well after seeing that video, who wouldn’t? Anyways, interesting dilemma Negi has on his hand. Godel has been revealed to sorta be a good guy. (Haruna hit the nail on the head with his character portfolio). I understand that he wants to fuck the Senate up, but he’s just doing it out of revenge. Negi should know by now that that’s not the route to take. But Eva thinks they should team up and I can’t argue with a hot loli vampire.

Meanwhile, motherfucking Jack Rakan is kicking some ass in an alternate dimension or something. Great fight those two were having. Especially the part where that mini spear goes through Rakan’s arm, but he nails Fate anyways. gawd that shit was so manly.. So at the end of the chapter, the big boss himself appears at last. I thought we were done with the PUPPET MASTER when Nagi giga drilled the shit out of him. Guess he’s back thanks to the keyblade mage staff..?

Leon: I think it would be interesting if Negi and Godel teamed up. They’re both insanely powerful and I imagine they would be able to wipe out the Senate with little to no problems. Still I’m not sure if it will happen just because Godel, while his intentions are good, he seems to be doing it for reasons that might get him killed. Or at least reasons that probably won’t give him the satisfaction he’s looking for. Though it seems Eva thinks they’ll team up so here’s to hoping that they do.

As for the Jack vs. Fate stuff, their fight was pretty damn awesome. Jack’s final blast was pretty epic but unfortunately there is some broken hax going on. A magic called “Rewrite”? Seriously? So then that makes fighting the person pretty much pointless if they can rewrite the results. Also, didn’t Nagi kill Puppetmaster? How the hell is he/she still alive?

FAIRY TAIL – Ch. 160

Leon: So Dragon Force is Natsu’s final form, huh? Somehow I don’t think so but I’d like to know how Zero knows so much about it and Natsu doesn’t. It looks like everything will be up to Natsu so I’m betting on him to end it all in the next chapter. The power scale is even more confusing now though.

Kimi no Iru Machi – Ch. 68

Gene: Nipple shot! It’s about time the author did this. You’d think this manga would be full of them given how Suzuka was. I was a little disappointed that it was only from Kikukawa but I still have hope. As far as I’m concerned nipple shots is the only way to save this manga because the writing is just terrible now.

Leon: Yuzuki really could have made things easier by not running away. Sure seeing your boyfriend and the girl he used to like holding hands is probably a bad thing but at least give them time to explain. Then again we wouldn’t be having a mission impossible-like situation going down which makes things a little more interesting. Oh and I hope we see more nipple shots too, Gene!

Gamaran – Ch. 25

Leon: Those two are as awesome as I expected. I would have preferred they went up against guys that were actually worth of them showing off their skills though. That will probably have to wait until the next round. That ninja guy will probably put up a good fight but he’s already made one big mistake: underestimating the Ogame style. The next round needs to start as soon as possible!

Cage of Eden – Ch. 20

Gene: lol Hades. He’s a pretty good troll. But man, Arita is more whacked out than I originally thought. How many more innocent people must you kill before you’re satisfied?! Anyways, this was a good chapter with all the twists going around. The last page hints that Akira and Rion might be next so I’m guessing that’s what the next arc will be all about. Hopefully Akira will be able to smack some sense into him. With this killstreak of his, it’s almost confirmed that he’ll die pretty soon.

Leon: The hell is wrong with Arita? That’s two innocent people he’s killed now. Things aren’t looking good for him and when/if Akira finds out there is going to be a huge problem to deal with. He’ll probably die but it would be different if he confesses and deals with what he did later. Also, when is Hades going to take off that mask? He’s quite the annoying bastard. Just like internet trolls.
